Julie's Thoughts

We've had such a great Christmas!  I love having Nana and Papaw come visit us.  It's usually short and sweet, but wonderful.  They always make me feel so good about our home despite the continual chaos.  Kathy always compliments us about the feeling in our home and I love that.  I know it's not easy to be here with all the noise, but they're so good about it.  They always try to find time for some one-on-one time with each of the kids and the kids love it.  We're so blessed to have such exceptional family.

I love the idea about taking turns hosting our reunions!  I'm really excited about having it in Salt Lake with Sarah and Tyler.  I love the area and there's so much to do there.  I'm excited to see all their favorite walks and hikes.  As for when it's our turn, we'll have to do some major researching and find a bearable-weather time to have it.  Probably early June I think would be best.  But we've still got a few years to figure all that out.
I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone in June.  I miss having time with everyone.  We love you all!

  1. I loved being there. I loved hearing from Genevene and Leah about their latest "crushes." I loved going for a walk with Calder and Max. I DO love the feeling in your home. I loved listening to Bess and wish I had heard her sing. I loved going shopping with Leah and picking out my own Christmas gift (Andes mints, yum!). I didn't love being sick on Christmas. I still think I have something amiss with my gall bladder, and when I don't eat just right, my stomach complains. When there's lots of exitement and busy-ness I don't eat right, graze too much, and pay for it. I DID like drifting in and out of sleep on Christmas day, listening to the activity and occasionally hearing rain on the roof. Cozy.
